Hello! Over the course of 2010, I will be publishing a Top 100 songs of the year, broken down into a quarterly review of 25 songs each. Just so we’re clear, here’s how this will work: each list will be comprised (mostly, I imagine) of songs that were realeased during that quarter of the year. That is not to say, for example, that a song released during the first quarter of the year will not appear in the third quarter’s list, but I think it may be unlikely. No song will appear on more than one list. Also, if a song has been released as a single in 2009 only later to appear on an album released in 2010, it counts as a 2010 song. Also, if an album was released in 2009, but the band releases a single from said album in 2010, it is also fair game.
